August15-17 were three days that would never be forgotten a whole three days of peace, love, and music. Amazingly, everyone got along just fine and no fights broke out. This event took place at dairy farm near Woodstock. They expected 10,000-20,000 and over 400,000 people showed up and most didn't even have tickets. They had traffic jams up to 20 miles long, over crowed, and limited supplies. The traffic was so bad that even the bands had trouble trying to get in the area. Also supplies were very limited along with sanitation because more people came then they thought. But when it came to drugs and alcohol they never had any problem running out because people would shared with others. Most of the people there was from the younger generation and most of which were hippies. For some more facts click here.
